1. Committee Opportunities

Get involved year-round by joining a committee that matches your interests and experience level.

• Awards Committee – Seeking a member with fewer than 3 years of research administration experience to offer a fresh perspective.

• DEI Committee – Welcoming volunteers who are curious, open to learning, and passionate about fostering inclusivity.

• Communications Committee – Ideal for those with a flair for writing or editing. Currently seeking:

  • Backup Web Editor – Assist in maintaining the Region IV website.

  • eBlast Editor – Help draft and send regional email communications.

2. Spring Conference Volunteer Roles 2025

Support the annual Spring Meeting through one-time or short-term roles—great for newcomers and veterans alike!

• Dinner Group Leader – Host a small group dinner to help members connect.

• Breakfast Roundtable Leader – Facilitate morning discussions on hot topics in RA.

• Hospitality Suite Host – Help create a welcoming, social atmosphere in the evening suite.

• Reception Greeters – Welcome attendees at the:

  • Welcome Reception

  • Newcomers’ Reception

• Conference Bag Stuffer – Join the pre-conference fun (Saturday only).

• Registration Desk Volunteer – Assist with check-in and answer attendee questions.

• NCURA App Helpers – Guide attendees in using the conference app and tech tools.
