Recognizing Awesome Volunteerism & Engagement
(RAVE IV)
Program Guidelines
Purpose: The purpose of the RAVE IV program is to recognize the volunteer contributions of Region IV members. Volunteers are recognized in two ways:

-
Letter of recognition: Members who participate in any volunteer activity throughout the year will receive an annual letter of recognition.
-
Certificate and pin: Members who volunteer in significant ways to reach a contribution level of 10 or more activity units will also receive both a certificate and a pin at the regional spring meeting. Non-attendees will receive them through the mail.
Process: Eligibility for recognition for either 1 or 2 above is contingent upon receipt of a completed volunteer activity log. Each individual will be responsible for tracking his or her own volunteer activities and emailing the activity log to the sub-committee chair annually by no later than February 28.
Recognition will be tracked in milestones of 10, 25, and 50 activity units. In addition to a certificate, a bronze, silver, or gold pin will be awarded accordingly:
-
10 units = bronze level recognition
-
25 units = silver level recognition
-
50 units or more = gold level recognition
Milestones are cumulative across years, beginning January 1, 2016.
