Secretary, Michelle Schoenecker
Michelle Schoenecker, Senior Technical Grant Writer and research administrator in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), has nearly 20 years of extensive proposal writing and development experience.
Previous positions include Proposal Manager at Fiserv, a Wisconsin-based financial data processing company, and grant writer for various colleges and non-profit health agencies in Milwaukee. She also has published articles and a Web site about proposal best practices. Michelle holds a master’s degree in professional & technical communication from UWM and a bachelor’s degree in professional communications from Alverno College. She also served as a research associate on the ninth edition of Handbook of Technical Writing and reviewed a chapter for Digital Literacy for Technical Communication: 21st Century Theory and Practice. In addition, Michelle teaches a technical communications course in the UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science.
