NCURA Region IV: Meetings

The spring meeting for National Council of University Research Administrators Region IV (NCURA Midwest) is quickly approaching. This stage of planning the meeting is exciting as we race to put together a substantial program! I would like to invite you to be a vendor participant in our spring meeting.

NCURA strives to provide top educational activities at all levels of the organization. This spring will continue the quality programs at this year’s meeting while we are “Bridging the Gap - A Year for Change in Research Administration”, in Minneapolis, MN. We will be convening at the University Radisson from April 27-29, 2009.

We will be promoting your company through information in the registration packets, acknowledgment in the program, and an activity to encourage visitors to stop by your booth. You may further elect to place your own advertisement materials in our registration packets, become a sponsor of an event, or have advertisement space in the final printed program. Of course, we are happy to arrange a package for you if one of the choices listed does not meet your needs.

We intend to have exhibitors outside Ballroom’s ABC&D and serve refreshment breaks in the same space. All rooms off of the exhibit area are either meal functions or sessions and the registration booth will be in the same area. This placement and traffic flow will enhance exhibit visibility. Please see the floor plan and know that meals will be held in Ballrooms ABCD. Sessions will be in Alumni, Big Ten, Northrop, Regents, Rotary, Presidents, and Faculty.

Exhibitors are invited to arrive on April 26th to set up booths during our workshop offerings. The meeting proper will begin April 27th in the morning and conclude at noon on April 29th.

Finally, you may also take advantage of our hotel negotiated room rate of $124/night at the hotel. The hotel is a wonderful setting for the meeting! If you reserve a room, just mention “NCURA” as the group for reservations.
